I finally sculpted my arms, which were full of unwanted fat, with fat-extraction injections!! During week 1, wow… I do bruise easily, but the blood bruising was so severe that I wondered if my arms were rotting. The swelling was also intense, and I wondered whether this was normal…
By week 2, the bruising and swelling gradually went down, but they still looked puffy, so I could not really tell any change. When I extended and raised my arms out to the sides, it looked like some of the unwanted fat that used to hang down had disappeared? But there was still no major visible change, and I had quite a lot of bruising, so I wore long sleeves.
By week 3, the bruises disappeared as if by magic, and I was told I could exercise, so I happily went swimming. (My arms still felt tight and like they were tearing when fully extended or raised, so I stretched often.) They said it was good to protect the treated area from UV rays, so I wore a long-sleeved rash guard while swimming. When I changed clothes, I noticed that my upper arms had been sculpted a lot!!! The round fat that stuck out to the sides even when standing at attention was gone, and the fat that had hung down when I raised my arms out to the sides was gone too! My upper-arm size also decreased a little!
By week 4, the shape was gradually settling in, and almost all of the tightness and lumpiness had disappeared, so yoga was becoming more comfortable. I did not realize it, but when I raise my arms toward my head, there are slightly uneven areas on the back of my upper arms. They said these would gradually smooth out too. My left arm had unevenness before, but it disappeared by week 4. I am hoping the unevenness on my right arm will gradually disappear too. They say the effect looks best two to three months after the procedure, so I will have to see how much smoother my upper arms become and whether the size decreases further!
