Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

One-month review of cheekbone reduction at Soda Plastic Surgery

This is my one-month postoperative review from Soda Plastic Surgery. While deliberating facial contouring surgery, the part that concerned me most was my cheekbones. I was stressed because they looked prominent in photos or from the side, and there was a limit to hiding them with makeup or hairstyles, so I ultimately decided on facial contouring surgery. I researched and consulted at several clinics, and the main reason I chose Soda Plastic Surgery was that they carefully assessed my face shape and cheekbone condition during the consultation and explained the surgical method in an easy-to-understand way. In particular, Dr. Kwon Jae-hyeon listened carefully to what I wanted and explained things in a way suited to my face rather than simply pushing surgery, which gave me confidence. At first after surgery, I was somewhat worried because of the swelling, as expected, but I felt reassured as I could see it going down over time. Now, at about one month post-op, the swelling has gone down a great deal compared with the beginning, and I can feel my facial contour gradually looking more natural. During recovery, I paid close attention to swelling management. I tried to follow the precautions given by the clinic as much as possible and focused on recovery by resting sufficiently without overexerting myself. At first, I mainly ate soft, easy-to-eat foods, then gradually returned to my regular meals as I recovered. After cheekbone surgery, I worried whether it might look too obvious or unnatural, but after about a month, it has changed more naturally than I expected, so I am satisfied. The swelling has not completely gone down yet, so I also expect it to look even more natural going forward. Most of all, I used to be very conscious of my cheekbones when taking photos, but now I feel much less stressed about my face shape even when taking pictures. I deliberated over facial contouring surgery for a long time and had many worries before deciding, but so far I am recovering while feeling satisfied. It has only been one month since surgery, so I will need to wait a little longer for the final result, but I am generally satisfied with both my recovery and results so far. I am looking forward to seeing how my facial contour settles as more swelling goes down!
