What do you think changed the most after my facial contouring? I’m especially satisfied with the side contour around my cheekbones and chin. haha Especially my chin!!! From the side it used to look square and angular, but now it has a sleek line, which I love. Honestly, my chin was such a complex that I cared about it even more than a square jaw. My face shape was not extremely unusual or angular, so many people initially tried to dissuade me from contouring surgery. But after seeing the result, everyone said even a subtle difference can be huge. It was not excessively shaved down; only the protruding areas were slightly refined, but I cannot believe how much smaller my face looks. Since my face looks smaller, people say my overall proportions look better too, so I’ve been in a good mood every day lately haha. Safety was the most important thing to me when looking into facial contouring surgery. Facial contouring has such a negative reputation, and there are many scary stories T_T. Design and the surgeon’s experience matter too, but I focused more on the safety system. In the end, I chose a place where a guardian can monitor the surgery in real time. I had zero concern about ghost surgery and went through it with peace of mind. It was my first general anesthesia, so I was scared T_T. After surgery, I could not open my mouth, my throat was scratchy from the anesthesia, and my face was swollen like Anpanman’s... I was all over the place, but after resting well during a one-day hospitalization, I felt better the next day. The staff were kind too, so I was comfortable during my stay haha. The swelling truly peaked on days 2–3. I drank water from a squeeze bottle and ate only porridge, but after that I could eat other soft foods. When I got tired of porridge, I alternated soft tofu dipped in soy sauce and Greek yogurt. (Hard, spicy, and irritating foods are absolutely prohibited xxxxxxx) At one week, I had the stitches in my sideburn area removed, and at three weeks, the stitches inside my mouth removed. Seriously, as soon as the intraoral stitches were removed, I felt like flying—it was sooooo comfortable haha. By around week three, the swelling had gone down enough that I could go outside without a hat! I’m currently satisfied because the result did not stray far from my original image and looks like a subtle, natural refinement. Is everyone else happy with their facial contouring too?
