First, the front-desk staff were very unfriendly. The doctor was very kind and explained things in detail. After reviewing the CT, they said osteotomy was not necessary, but I am uneasy about their suggestion to use costal cartilage for septal correction. My airway is narrow, so nasal airway surgery is the priority; I am worried that support with costal cartilage might make the airway even narrower. I shared my concerns about correcting my deviated nose, and I trusted them more because they clearly said a 100% correction of a deviated nose is difficult. I liked the consultation, but the staff were too unfriendly and the hospital lobby was too chaotic.
