About three years ago, I had revision surgery because my double-eyelid crease was too thin. There was not completely no crease after the first surgery, but it looked much more natural than I wanted, so I was a little disappointed. For the revision, I said that I definitely wanted a crease with more thickness. During consultation, I explained the style I wanted in as much detail as possible and expected a look that was a little more defined and dramatic than the previous surgery. However, once the surgery was done and time passed for the crease to settle, it turned out far more natural than I had expected, so I was initially a little disappointed T_T. Since I had even undergone revision surgery, I wanted a clearly different result this time, but ultimately it became a natural crease. Of course, people around me often said it looked natural and pretty, and I liked that it did not look unnatural or obvious. Still, I was left disappointed because it differed somewhat from the thick double-eyelid crease I wanted. For those considering revision double-eyelid surgery, I think it is best to describe the desired crease thickness and overall look as specifically as possible during consultation, and show plenty of photos of the style you want!
