At my consultation, I was recommended incisional ptosis correction, epicanthoplasty, and lower-eyelid fat repositioning! I had been worried because the area below my eyes looked hollow and dark, perhaps due to dark circles, and I felt that was why people often said I looked especially tired. That was why I went for a consultation. Because my upper eyelids were significantly droopy, I was told this made me look more tired, so ptosis correction and epicanthoplasty were recommended together. I was also told that lower-eyelid fat repositioning was needed for the hollowness beneath my eyes. They said that because my skin was thick, everything would need to be done with incisions. I was deliberating over whether to proceed because I worried that recovery might be slow or scars might remain. However, no one pressured me into surgery; they told me to take my time and think about it. I did not feel uncomfortable and could consider it comfortably at home, which was nice. They also did not pressure me through messages by asking whether I had decided or when I would have it done. Instead, they quickly answered my questions, so I felt I wanted surgery at such an attentive place and ultimately went through with it. Perhaps the director remembered that I was worried about recovery, because even on the day of surgery, they reassured me that I would recover quickly if I consistently received the clinic's postoperative care. I had the surgery feeling at ease. As I recall, I visited the clinic for care every two to three weeks. It has now been over seven months, so it has been quite a while since I went to [Clinic A], but thanks to that, everything settled well within two months. I wanted a natural look, so I asked for an in-fold. It is neat without becoming a hidden double eyelid, which I like. With the canthoplasty as well, my eyelids were fully lifted, and because the area beneath my eyes no longer looks hollow, I look much more lively. Before, many people would ask why my face looked that way even when I had slept well, but now they say my face looks good instead, haha. I do not think recovery took an especially long time or that the scars became dark just because it was done with incisions. I guess it is not necessarily true that only non-incisional procedures turn out well, haha.
