I had it done when butt enhancement first became popular. They took fat from my inner thighs, front abdomen, and even upper arms because there was not enough fat, then put it into my buttocks. Amazingly, my buttocks are still firm and people envy them without knowing I had surgery. When I lose weight, they shrink too, and when I gain weight, my buttocks immediately become fuller again. Now I want fat added to my hips rather than another butt enhancement, and if I do it again, I would go here again. Liposuction also had a good effect, but I gained weight back in the liposuctioned areas. However, the scars remain even now, years later; they do not disappear. I liked that I did not have to wear a compression garment.
