First, I am getting double-eyelid revision surgery, and I visited several surgeons who are fairly well known in an online café to compare them. I hope this helps everyone!
1. [Clinic A] – Dr. A Dr. A was generally very detailed in the explanation. Rather than simply recommending a surgical method, the doctor explained how my eye characteristics differ from those of typical people. In my case, my current double-eyelid crease is about 7 mm, and the recommendation was to raise it to around 8 mm. The proposed plan was eye-shape correction + double eyelids + fat grafting + canthoplasty. The cost was in the low 3 million KRW range, conditional on writing a review and making a same-day reservation. The doctor's explanation was very professional, but I was slightly disappointed that the doctor only created and showed me a crease line about once during the consultation.
2. [Clinic B] – Dr. B Dr. B strongly gave the impression of recommending only what is necessary rather than excessively recommending various procedures. The consultant was also very kind, and overall they seemed to prefer natural results. In my case, they recommended natural adhesion double-eyelid surgery plus eye-shape correction while maintaining the existing 8 mm crease. Unlike [Clinic A], they said fat grafting was not really necessary and could actually make my eyes look thicker, so I found that cleaner and liked the impression. It was also the least expensive of the places I visited, so it was one of the places where I immediately left a deposit.
3. [Clinic C] – single-surgeon practice The consultation here was not long, about 3 minutes, but they gave a relatively clear suggestion of what would be good and showed what it would look like when creating the actual line, so I felt the guidance was precise. The most recommended combination, similar to [Clinic A], was incision + eye-shape correction + 45-degree upper canthoplasty + fat grafting or fat repositioning. They also said that because my eyes look somewhat sleepy, eye-shape correction was needed, and recommended upper canthoplasty. The total cost was in the low 3 million KRW range, and there was a consultation fee for the coordinator. But they were very kind, so I think it would be good even just to go for a consultation.
After visiting clinics, I found that everyone recommends different things depending on the desired look, so I definitely recommend visiting clinics to compare!
