The double eyelids from my first surgery loosened and sagged, becoming almost completely hidden like inner double eyelids. My epicanthal folds were also tightly closed off, so I was stressed by my constantly blank-looking, clam-like eyes T_T. Even when I worked hard on eyeliner, it all got buried in the inner corners and rubbed off, so I had a non-incisional double-eyelid revision plus inner canthoplasty revision at [Clinic A] to completely redo it into a refreshing in-out line from the starting point!
[Doctor A] pinpointed that an incision was not necessarily needed, that the crease could be raised firmly with the non-incisional method, and that only the epicanthal fold at the inner corner needed to be opened slightly, so I trusted them and went ahead.
Because it was revision surgery, I was scared of scars and swelling, but since it was non-incisional, swelling dropped dramatically after stitch removal around weeks 1–2, and I had almost no bruising, so recovery was really fast lol.
Now all residual swelling is gone and it has fully settled. The skin healed smoothly, with absolutely no canthoplasty scar or pinched marks. Even with my eyes open, nothing rolls inward at all; it is exactly a distinct in-out line extending refreshingly from the inner corners. Since the horizontal length is longer, my eyes look at least twice as big, and even a light sweep of thin eyeliner looks perfect without makeup smudging, so I get so excited every time I do my makeup T_T. I completely escaped the blank-looking eye shape, and I feel like choosing revision surgery at [Clinic A] was the right decision a hundred times over. Highly recommended!
