My story of getting double eyelid surgery, medial canthoplasty, and lower-eyelid fat repositioning at once

I had double eyelids, but lacked the strength to open my eyes, so my eyes looked tired. The area under my eyes was also dull and sagging, which I was worried about. I heard so often that I looked fierce that I finally looked into surgery. I had it done by Dr. Choi Woo-seok at [Clinic A]. What I remember from the consultation is that he did not simply look at the double eyelids; he examined the way I opened my eyes and the entire under-eye area. At first I wondered whether I should just make my double eyelids bigger, but the doctor’s approach was to explain which areas of my current eyes needed correction to change my impression, rather than automatically adding this and that. I also had a slight epicanthal fold, so I got incisional ptosis correction, medial canthoplasty, and lower-eyelid fat repositioning all at once. After surgery, the first thing I noticed was that the constrained, tired look was gone, and my eyes became strikingly bright and larger. My overall impression definitely looks cleaner. The under-eye area made a bigger difference than expected... Once the areas that looked dark like dark circles were corrected, both above and below my eyes looked brighter. The difference is quite noticeable compared with old photos. Before, I wondered why I looked so sleepy despite having double eyelids, but now I see that eyes are not just about one area. Once my eye shape and under-eye area were addressed together, my lifeless-looking impression changed entirely. I feel like I am living with completely different eyes, and I am so satisfied and happy every time I look in the mirror..
