My eyes were originally very close to monolids.. T_T If you looked closely, there were only faint traces of a crease line, so even with makeup, my eyes always looked somewhat closed-in, which was disappointing. I considered using double-eyelid tape or glue, but doing it every time was bothersome, so I decided to do it properly once and looked into double-eyelid surgery before having it! Since it was my first surgery, I felt burdened by an incision and wanted the most natural result possible, so after consultations at several places, I chose natural adhesion plus non-incisional ptosis correction. In the beginning after surgery, there was swelling, so the crease looked darker than expected and my eyes looked unfamiliar, and I wondered whether I had done it unnecessarily. But after a few days, as the swelling went down, they gradually became natural haha. Now the crease is completely distinct, and my eyes are much bigger than before, so I love them. I did not even have canthoplasty, but it is amazing lol. My friends also said the surgery turned out really well and that I succeeded on the first try, so that made me happy. And the most convenient thing is not having to use double-eyelid tape when applying makeup! Eyeliner and eye shadow also look much prettier than before, so every time I do my makeup these days, I feel glad that I had the surgery. I was very worried since it was my first surgery, but I am satisfied because it came out more natural than I expected!
