The squared scar disappeared with lateral canthoplasty reversal

The lateral canthoplasty I had elsewhere in the past gradually left only the outer end looking angular, like a squared shape. In front-facing photos, the outer corner looked blunt and blocked, so it was stressful that my eyes looked especially short horizontally, T_T. Rather than widening them further, I looked for a place that could first release this shape and went to [Clinic A], which was said to have seen many reversal cases. During the consultation, the doctor explained that widening it further indiscriminately would only broaden the scar, and that the angular remaining area needed to be corrected first and the direction of the outer corner lowered as well for it to connect naturally. Since it was a revision, I felt most reassured that they first checked how much tissue remained. Now the swelling has completely settled, and the outer end connects smoothly without an angular feeling. With the outer corner lowered slightly, the added horizontal length is clearly noticeable, and the redness is now barely visible. Before, my eye shape looked stuffy and harsh, but now I often hear that my impression looks gentler, haha. Even at one month, I wondered whether this was all there was, but it has now settled properly. Since reversal was the goal, the best part is living without worrying about the shape, haha.
