This is a review of implantable contact lens surgery that I suddenly thought of while at a regular checkup. My older sister had it first and strongly recommended it because she liked it so much, so I had it too. I went and got it done on a whim in college. Up to now, I have developed just a tiny bit of myopia and astigmatism, but no side effects. At first, it was so inconvenient having to avoid sleeping face down and protect my eyes, like my eyes had become a vulnerable point. But I got used to it over time. My original vision was extremely high myopia and extremely high astigmatism, to the point where LASIK or LASEK was not possible. I love being able to walk around without glasses.
