It has already been two months since my breast augmentation~!! Having small breasts had stressed me out my whole life, so this time I got Mentor Boost implants at [Clinic A]: 400 cc on the left and 375 cc on the right. I had always wanted as much volume as possible, so I’m truly satisfied with the current size, haha.
Right after surgery, honestly, volume was the last thing on my mind because the pain came first.. T_T It was not quite like being stepped on by an elephant, but my breasts felt heavy and moving was uncomfortable, so I stayed almost entirely at home for two to three days. I took a week of leave, and by the time I returned, the pain had decreased considerably, so it was more manageable than I expected.
I was also a little startled by the early shape, lol. My upper breasts were very full and they felt firm, so they looked a little different from what I had imagined. But after two months, I realized they do not stay that way. Now the upper contour has settled more softly than at first, and the breast shape itself feels like it is gradually settling onto my body. The feel has definitely softened compared with the beginning, and the foreign-body sensation or tightness I felt when moving has mostly disappeared too.
I went to [Clinic A] for follow-ups and received Caps care as well, which I quietly really liked. It is a treatment applied to both breasts, and it seemed to ease the tight feeling I had early on, so it is what I remember most among the postoperative care.
The incision was through the armpit, so I still have scars!! It has only been two months, so I am not expecting them to disappear yet. Since they are in the underarm crease, they are less visible than expected when my arms are down, so they do not bother me much. At first I was careful even about moving my arms, but now I barely notice it in daily life.
What I am most satisfied with these days is getting dressed, of course, lol. Before, fitted T-shirts made my upper body look too flat, so I did not like the fit. Now, even wearing just one T-shirt makes my whole figure look different. Since I chose the larger volume I wanted, I can really feel the difference in this regard T_T. At first, when I looked in the mirror, only my breasts looked huge, but now either my eyes have adjusted or the shape has settled, because they look much more natural with my body. When I see old photos from when my breasts were small, I wonder how I lived in that body, lol.
When I lie down, the shape can still feel a little awkward, and I think the feel will soften further, so I do not consider it finished yet. Still, seeing it become more natural continuously from immediately after surgery to one month to two months makes me even more excited for what is ahead. Now I understand what people mean when they say breast surgery is not simply over after the procedure; you need to watch the settling process too, lol. At the two-month mark, I am satisfied with both the volume and shape, and I feel like I worried for nothing at first. These days, I find myself checking in the mirror once a day~!!
