My cheekbones and square jaw stressed me out, so after deliberating I had three-part facial contouring surgery, and it has already been eight months. The recovery period has passed, and I am so satisfied that I am leaving a review :) I originally had very protruding side cheekbones and a square jaw, so when I took photos, it felt like my face shape was the first thing people noticed. Because of this, I hid my cheekbones with my hair and paid special attention to angles in photos so they would not stand out, which was stressful T_T After consultations at several places and much deliberation, I had three-part contouring of the cheekbones, square jaw, and chin tip with Dr. Park at [Clinic A]. At about one week after surgery, I was much more swollen than I had expected and was really shocked T_T lol. The bruising was also severe, and my family and people around me were surprised when they saw me. The hospital had told me in advance that the swelling would gradually go down, but every time I looked in the mirror, I worried whether it would really subside. Still, as time passed, the swelling went down, and after one and then two months, I gradually began to see my face shape. As the swelling decreased, I could see my cheekbones and jawline becoming more refined, so I think that was when I began to feel reassured and watched my progress. Around six months, I heard that most major swelling had gone down and only residual swelling would slowly subside. I thought it would make little difference, but now at eight months, I feel even a little slimmer than at six months. As the residual swelling went down, my facial contours became smoother too!! Where the line from my cheekbones to jaw once looked angular, my overall facial contour now flows more softly, so I am very satisfied. I no longer obsess over angles when taking photos, and I am trying various styles. I hope my progress can be even a small reference for people who, like me, have deliberated for a long time over their face shape because of prominent cheekbones or a square jaw!
