People around me said that if my double eyelid surgery lasted 12 years, it had lasted a long time. But honestly, if you have incisional double eyelid surgery, it should be nearly semi-permanent, right? Mine came undone. It did not just come undone either; it developed multiple creases, which made me look much older. So I had revision surgery with Dr. Kim Tae-hoon at [Clinic A].
They set an in-out line 1 mm higher than my previous double-eyelid line, which somehow made me look younger, so I went with 10 mm lines on both sides. They said the strength of opening my eyes differed between the two sides, so I also had ptosis correction. (Previously, I had only double eyelid surgery, not ptosis correction.)
There was not much swelling, but it was my first time having ptosis correction, so it felt a little uncomfortable. My eyes kept feeling like they were opening wide!! Fortunately, that got better after about two weeks, and now my eyes just open comfortably, which I love.
