Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

I had contouring only for a protruding chin and jaw, without double-jaw surgery

Before surgery, I had a slight protruding chin and cheekbones and jaw that were not severe, but the contours were not pretty and there was a lot of blank facial space, which was a complex for me! So I visited [Clinic A]! I was consulted for double-jaw surgery, but they said contouring surgery alone would be possible for me, so I had three-part facial contouring surgery: cheekbones, square jaw, and chin. Before surgery, because I had some blank facial space, I did not even take many photos with apps. After surgery, I take many photos and my confidence has increased, haha. Until two months after surgery, when I smiled or opened my mouth wide, I was still not fully recovered and my mouth shape looked distorted, so I worried a lot. I was overseas and could not visit the clinic for follow-up checks, which made me worry even more. When I asked the clinic, they explained that this is common during recovery and told me to do mouth exercises and facial stretching frequently. I worked hard at them, and now, after three months, my mouth is symmetrical. However, there is still a slight sensation on the right upper-lip area, like just before dental anesthesia wears off, but it is gradually recovering. When moving my mouth as if saying vowels, there is still a slight feeling of residual muscle soreness, though it does not hurt, like the muscles are slightly dull. This is also gradually improving, so I am not worried. Sensation in the right cheekbone area has not fully returned either, but I can feel it gradually recovering, so I think it will slowly recover with time. Except for a few close friends, nobody knows I had surgery. People who do not know think I just dieted, and I receive many compliments that I became prettier and that my face looks half its former size, which makes me happy. Even friends who know about the surgery say it looks very natural and that I became prettier, so I think I did very well to have surgery; my only regret is thinking I should have done it earlier, haha. I have no problem with daily life now. I drink alcohol, though not excessively, and live similarly to before surgery, with no major inconvenience. Overall, the surgery seems to have turned out very naturally and well, and people around me say that I look my best these days and have become prettier. Other than regretting not doing it earlier, I am satisfied. I did develop slight cheek hollowing after surgery, and on my next visit I plan to review the progress and ask whether dermatologic treatment is possible. Still, facial contouring surgery resolved something that had been a lifelong complex for me, so I have no regrets other than wishing I had done it sooner!
