Eye Surgery Considerations

[Clinic A] Community Review

I had rhinoplasty in 2023, and it turned out fairly natural. But the tip of my nose does get red; I think it is probably due to my skin type T_T. At the time, the coordinator was really nice, and although there are many doctors who are not great, the doctors here were kind and thorough. So after deciding on surgery, I have been doing fairly well. I prefer natural beauty. But I wanted my nasal alae to be a little fuller (probably because I had nasal-tip cartilage suturing T_T). I went in for a consultation. But the previously kind coordinator had left, and a rude coordinator completely ruined my mood. The doctor still explained everything thoroughly and was kind. I consulted about placing dermis in the nasal alae, but after the consultation with the doctor, as I was leaving the room for the lobby, she only gave me the price information and had me stand at the counter. She seemed indifferent, like someone about to quit, and just gave the price. There was no information about the surgery. She spoke with an annoyed expression while taking off her radio; in my life, I have never encountered a consultation coordinator this rude, indifferent, and unpleasant. Does it make sense to have me stand at the counter and answer so halfheartedly? I am an existing surgery patient and this was a surgical consultation. On my way home, I thought that if I did it, I would probably trust the doctor and have it done here, but the coordinator’s attitude was so unpleasant that I complained by messaging them, and they connected me with a new coordinator. That coordinator is better than the unpleasant one, but not as good as the previously kind coordinator T_T. The doctor is professional and kind, but the clinic staff, especially the coordinators, seem to severely damage its reputation. I was so upset by that rude coordinator that I asked her to apologize in person, but she said she could not, lol. I hope the head doctor knows about this, sigh T_T. I will find out the rude coordinator’s name so I can help people consult with someone else instead, for the public good. She truly ruined my mood. The doctor is kind. Looking at reviews, there are many comments saying that a coordinator is unpleasant; it seems to be that person. She responds like someone quitting tomorrow, with no energy, lol. Seeing her remove her radio, make me stand at the counter, and respond listlessly with terse answers, I seriously thought: if that is how you are going to act, perhaps find another job T_T. It makes both the worker and the person receiving service feel awful.
