I kept worrying about how closed-in and upturned my eyes looked. I kept putting it off because I was worried about scars, but it has already been 10 months since surgery lol. During the consultation, they explained not that they would widen them as much as possible, but how much widening was possible for my eyes. I said I did not want it to be too excessive, and I think it came out with just the degree of canthoplasty I wanted haha. I originally wanted a gentle, puppy-eye look, and I love my eyes now T_T. At first, the stitches were much more visible than I expected, and it was honestly so gross lol. But after seeing them for several days, I got used to them. Canthoplasty tends to re-adhere, but since mine has not re-adhered so far, I do not think I need to worry that it will happen going forward! Everyone, get canthoplasty too~
