When I got double-eyelid surgery at 20, I also had inner canthoplasty without much thought. The lacrimal caruncles were fully visible and my eyes were too close together, so I was often told I looked older. It was so stressful that around three to four years after my double-eyelid surgery, I looked into it and had inner canthoplasty reversal. I prefer natural beauty over a dramatic look, so it was restored to a rounded yet pointed shape that suited me. They said postoperative care was most important to prevent it from opening again, so I even avoided rubbing my eyes for a year after surgery T_T
