For my double-eyelid surgery, I had natural adhesion and medial epicanthoplasty. My nose was very small, so costal cartilage had to be used; I strongly wanted to use my own cartilage, so I had surgery using autologous costal cartilage at the same time. I was worried because I was having my eyes and nose done together, but Dr. Lee Jin-hwa's consultation was straightforward yet thorough. They considered both the look I wanted and the direction that would suit my face, so I decided to proceed. With natural adhesion for my eye surgery, my eyes became more defined without looking too heavy or overwhelming. I am also satisfied with the medial epicanthoplasty because it does not look overly opened. Because my nose used autologous costal cartilage, I worried it would become too high and dramatic, but I think it was shaped to suit my face in a natural yet refined line. My nasal tip is definitely more defined than before, but it does not look artificial, which I like! Because I had my eyes and nose done together, there was quite a bit of swelling early on. The nose used autologous costal cartilage in particular, so I also had to take care of my chest area, which was a little inconvenient, but humans are adaptable, right? Recovery was more manageable than I expected, and doing my eyes and nose together definitely changed my overall impression. So far, I am satisfied!!!
