Before facial contouring, I wondered why my face looked so big, but looking back, it was probably the cheekbones-plus-square-jaw combination lol. My lateral cheekbones protruded, making my face look wide from the front, and my jaw was angular lower down, so my overall outline was uneven T_T.
At [Clinic A], I had cheekbone reduction and square-jaw reduction together.
Rather than a sharply pointed V-line, I asked them to smooth only the protruding areas so my face would look naturally smaller.
At first, I looked in the mirror a hundred times a day because of the swelling lol, but as time passed, I started seeing changes in my cheekbones first.
Once the parts that had protruded on both sides in front-facing photos were reduced, my face looked much slimmer than expected.
Having the square jaw done too was nice because the line continued naturally down to the lower face.
From the side, the angle that had caught right below my ears disappeared, and my jawline became smoother than before.
I like that my face became smaller, but I feel even more strongly that the formerly uneven outer contour has been refined haha.
When I tied my hair before, my cheekbones and jaw stood out first, so I always left face-framing strands down. Now it is fine even if I simply sweep my hair back lol.
I did not want contouring to make me look like a completely different person, and I am satisfied because my original impression remains while only the angular areas have softened.
