Two-year review: upper eyelid/under-eye fat grafting and under-eye surgery

I wanted to read reviews but had no points, so I am leaving a very detailed review of my surgery. I had never had any other cosmetic procedure. I went to a clinic to get double-eyelid surgery for my mom, then ended up having surgery myself. An acquaintance referred me to [Clinic A], a plastic surgery clinic in Apgujeong with one male director. The price was on the expensive side, but the clinic environment, consultation with the doctor, staff care, and, most importantly, satisfaction with the surgery were all good. My upper eyelids had little fat, like the style of Lee Dong-wook’s eyes, and my under-eye area—meaning the upper cheeks—was also very hollow, making me look very thin and my face look long. My under-eye area was also extremely dark like dark circles, giving me a tired appearance, but I am very satisfied after the two surgeries. I had the first surgery in September 2024. Since my face has very little fat, I revisited the same clinic two weeks ago and had another fat graft. This cost 1.3 million won, and it was my second fat graft in total. They explained that everyone’s constitution differs, and just as not all ten seeds planted in a field will grow, some people have two survive while others have eight survive. It would have been better if one procedure had been enough, but because I have so little facial fat, I added a little more and am satisfied. For fat grafting, fat is harvested from the abdomen and injected after sedation anesthesia, and a touch-up is performed about two months later. It was not particularly painful, and my abdomen became fine after wearing an abdominal compression garment for about two days. My face and eyes were somewhat swollen, and the under-eye surgery was the same, but it was at a level no one would notice unless I told them. My face looks much more lively and naturally prettier. The downside is that I have almost never had facial swelling in my life, but after fat grafting, my face is swollen when I wake up. It disappears after about an hour. Even the first time, under-eye surgery was more expensive and fat grafting was in the 1-million-won range. I am currently looking for a clinic that is good at fat-dissolving injections for the calves/thighs, so if you can share information, please let me know in the comments.
