My mom was the first one in our family to have eye surgery at ID, lol. She had upper blepharoplasty and lower eyelid fat repositioning, and she said the result was good, so she told me to visit this place too if I was going to have eye surgery. That is how I ended up going for a consultation.
My concern was that, perhaps because I wore double-eyelid tape every day, my eyelids were becoming wrinkled and stretched T_T. Rather than wanting an overly dramatic look, I wanted clear, pretty in-out double eyelids!! After consultation, I decided on incisional ptosis correction plus epicanthoplasty, and chose the in-out crease I wanted. Since my mom had surgery there first, I think I felt more at ease than going somewhere completely unfamiliar, lol.
At first after surgery, because it was incisional, I was a little worried that the crease might look high due to swelling, but as the swelling went down, it gradually took the shape I wanted, haha. Now I am satisfied because they naturally opened the inner corners that had looked closed-in and designed the eyes to make my asymmetrical eyes as even as possible! Before, I often forced my eyes open wide and my expression would look strange, but now even when I just open them comfortably, my eyes look defined, so taking selfies is more fun, haha.
At first, I learned about this place through my mom's recommendation, but now friends ask me where I got my eyes done, lol. It is also kind of funny to think that my mom and I both had eye surgery at ID, lol. Still, I started because my eyes looked closed-in, and now that they have changed into the look I wanted, I am completely satisfied these days, haha.
