I went for a consultation because a famous YouTuber had surgery here and it seemed to have many good reviews. I especially expected more because the director seemed known for being kind and detailed in consultations. But I have visited quite a lot of places, and this was the first where my consultation time with the director was so short. As reviews said, they kept smiling and their tone of voice was kind, lol. But that was really all. From a patient’s perspective, I wanted a detailed process of analyzing my eyes and understanding my needs, but they spoke quickly as if pressed for time. It felt less like a one-on-one consultation about my eyes and more like they briefly glanced at them and repeated empty pleasantries... They did not even ask whether I had any more questions and simply left. Even if someone speaks kindly, clinics like this that are so perfunctory are far worse than clinics whose manner may be blunt but clearly say what can and cannot be done and provide genuinely tailored consultations. I just got the feeling that this place was not good. Maybe because I had high expectations.
