I had a consultation that day, and since surgery happened to be available that day as well, I trusted the surgeon's experience and had surgery immediately. I do not know whether they were patients of the same doctor, but on the day of my surgery, two other people besides me were lying on beds in another room. Is it normal to operate on several people simultaneously? At the time, I did not know what was what and just lay down to receive surgery. (Only later, when I researched clinics, did I learn that a clinic performing surgery on only a small number of patients a day is considered a good standard. It was an assembly-line clinic
