Eye Surgery Considerations

Clinic review

As I lost facial fat, I developed slight sagging of the deep cheek fat, and as the front cheeks sagged, nasolabial folds formed. I had an event a week later, so while looking through Instagram and YouTube of various dermatologists and plastic surgeons for something with an immediate effect, I decided on Ultherapy after hearing it was good for immediate results. I saw the lowest price in an Instagram ad from this clinic and thought, “Would a device-based treatment depend much on the operator?” so I just went. During the consultation, the coordinator said Ultherapy was not very effective for deep cheek fat or nasolabial folds, which shocked me. Since I have no chin fat, they said 300 shots for the face should be enough, so I decided to do that. It seems the system is that only the coordinator consults, and when the patient is lying down, the doctor comes in only to perform the procedure; I told the male doctor that I was concerned about deep cheek fat and nasolabial folds and asked him to focus there. But the male doctor also said Ultherapy does not give an immediate effect for deep cheek fat or nasolabial folds. He said it is not something that focuses only on nasolabial folds or deep cheek fat; rather than a lifting effect, it gradually stimulates collagen production? Various specialists on YouTube said Ultherapy was good for an immediate lifting effect, which is why I came, but I do not know who is right. I had 300 shots, but on day three I still feel absolutely no improvement in deep cheek fat or nasolabial folds, nor any facial-lifting effect. They say you need three sessions at one-month intervals for it to last a year, which does not seem cost-effective. Since it is a treatment where collagen builds over one to two weeks and the tissues tighten, I guess I went in misunderstanding it. I thought it would provide an immediate lift... Even without anesthesia during the procedure, it only felt slightly lukewarm or warm, and there was almost no sensation, so you could say there is almost no pain.
