It has been over 10 years, I think. When I had inner canthoplasty then, it went well. They said the eyes would absolutely not look too close together, and since I only wanted a slight opening at the inner corners, they did not over-open them. I paid a deposit, had the consultation and surgery on the same day. The stitches were short and not very noticeable, so I could carry on with daily life. I think I was able to resume daily life as early as the next day. After the stitches were removed, the incision line was not long, so I do not think there was much scarring.
