Seeing my mom's face with increasingly prominent under-eye bags as she got older always worried me, so I had her undergo lower eyelid surgery at [Clinic A]. Since we live outside Seoul, I debated going all the way to Seoul, but I decided on Seoul because I was afraid a cheaper place might leave scars. After diligently looking for reviews, [Clinic A] seemed to produce natural results when patients smile, so I booked the surgery by phone and reserved accommodation in Seoul as well. The swelling was fairly severe at first, and when people around us asked why we had gone through the expense and trouble of going all the way to Seoul, I wondered if I had done this for her unnecessarily and worried. But once most of the swelling went down, the incisions healed, and her under-eye area became smooth and clear, people began asking us where she had it done. The difference between prominent under-eye bags and a smooth under-eye area is huge. Everyone keeps saying she looks younger, and I think my mom's confidence has gone up tremendously. I think it was the best thing I did this year. Seeing her surgical result, I immediately understood why they call it filial cosmetic surgery.
