4 years ago, I had double eyelid surgery for the first time (incisional) + ptosis correction + lateral and lower canthoplasty (I don’t remember the price). I don’t really like eyes with very prominent double eyelids, so I asked them to set the line low for an inner-double-eyelid look. At first it was okay, but after about 6 months, one side came completely undone. During the consultation, I was told that setting the line low doesn’t mean it comes undone easily, and since it came undone even though it was incisional, I wondered whether it was right to do it again. But since it was aftercare/warranty service, I decided to get it done once more and had revision surgery. At that time, the director said this time they would increase the number of fixation points? and fix it firmly so it wouldn’t come undone, so I thought it would be okay now. From right after the revision until a certain period afterward, it seemed clearer than the first time, so I got by fine. But as time passed, the double eyelids seemed almost invisible again like before, and now, a little over 3 years later, the double eyelid on the right is almost invisible from the front, and the line on the left has also started to look very unnatural. People around me also ask whether it came undone, and they say my right eye looks a bit fierce. If I had just lived with the eyes I was born with, it wouldn’t matter, but when I think that I spent time and money and still didn’t improve much, I feel wronged, so I started looking into revision surgery. As I kept looking, I also noticed an issue other than the double eyelids: the eye lengths are uneven. But the height of the lower part of my eyes was different on each side to begin with, so I started worrying that even if I get revision surgery, it might be difficult to set the lines so both sides are horizontally balanced. Also, if I do get revision surgery, it would be my third surgery, so I worry whether it would be too much strain on my eyes, especially since I also had vision correction surgery about 3 months ago. In addition, if I get revision surgery, I’d like the line to be set a little higher than before so the double eyelids are at least somewhat clearly visible, but I also worry that this might look too intense for male eyes.
This got very long, but to summarize only what I’m curious about: 1. Since the height of the lower part of my eyes differs between the two sides, would it be difficult to create balanced lines on both sides even with revision surgery? 2. Would three eye surgeries plus vision correction surgery be too much strain on my eyes? 3. If I set the line higher than now, would it look a bit too intense for male eyes?
