⭐️First of all, I had some consultations in the past too, so my memory may have gotten distorted. I’m writing this down so I don’t forget, so please just use it as a reference.
For me, only the front part of the right-side line became thick, like a scar, so when I opened my eyes the line bent and my eye ended up looking like a sausage eye. Overall, the line was uneven, and it also wasn’t the line height I wanted, so I decided on eye revision surgery.
1. ㅊㄴ This was the first place I had a consultation. When I mentioned the front inner part of my right eye, they said it wasn’t a scar but that it had come undone. They also said the ptosis correction was insufficient and that my eye-opening strength was weak. They explained it in detail with drawings and said excision would be needed. Since it was my first consultation and they explained things well, I was tempted for a moment, but after reading various reviews, I put it on hold. I had the consultation a long time ago, so I don’t remember it well.
2. ㅇㅇㅇㅇ They asked what brought me in, so I explained, and after looking at my eyes a few times, they said it was possible. They were kind, but only gave a simple answer that the line I wanted was possible. Honestly, I liked their before-and-after photos the most. After leaving, I talked with the consultant, and later the consultant sent me a long KakaoTalk message. I liked that they sent details by KakaoTalk about things I might forget or things they might later deny. I also thought it was good that they told me to bring photos of the eye shape I wanted on the day of surgery, but there weren’t many real reviews, so I put this place on hold too. The surgery fee was also a bit expensive.
3. ㅇㅇㅇ I went with high expectations because people call this place the Apgujeong sewing machine. The consultation with the director was just okay. They said they would excise the line and recreate it. I asked whether there was enough extra skin, and they said there was a little. I said I wanted to lower the line a lot, but they said it would require that much excision, so lowering it a lot was not possible. I had high expectations, but the consultation was just okay.
4. ㄹㅎ Maybe because they’re famous for areas besides eyes too, there were a ton of people. The director spoke gently and was kind. I think they said they would proceed with excision, but because there wasn’t extra skin in the front, they would do a two-line technique. (Honestly, I didn’t really understand it ;)
5. ㅌㅇㅅ I booked this place because there were many reviews on the Gangnam Unni app and the before-and-after photos looked good, but it turned out to be a famous place. They said there was a surgery before me, so I waited quite a long time… After the wait, I had the consultation with the director, and they said very confidently that it would go well. They even said the chance of it going well was 100%, so because they sounded very confident, I did trust them, but there are so many clinics where things are different before and after the deposit… Also, the before photo was exactly like my case, and it turned out well, so I really felt this was the place. But when I was consulting with the consultant, they spoke as if I had to book today, so it felt a bit pressured… And the surgery fee was the highest among all the clinics I’d visited so far, so that felt even more burdensome, and I put it on hold for now. Unlike the other clinics, this place mentioned the two-line technique. They also told me to do fat repositioning and other things, and when I looked up reviews, people said they almost always recommend two-line technique + fat repositioning + ptosis correction.. They pressure you a lot for the reservation deposit and the reviews are mixed, but so far this place is the one I liked the most.
6. ㅇㅇㅎ I had expectations because they specialize in eyes and said they only operate on two people a day. First, they looked at my eyes and said they were uneven. They asked if there was anything I didn’t like about my left eye, so I said that even when I close my eyes, the incision line is dark, so I can’t look downward. They said that can’t be helped. They said it wasn’t that anything was done wrong, but that it looks that way because my upper eyelid area comes down. They said they would excise the left side and loosen the front inner part of the right side, so I wondered if only the right side would be the two-line technique and asked if they meant they would only loosen the right side. They said the scar on the right side is wide, so they would excise it very slightly. I asked whether that wouldn’t make the line look strange, and got scolded that it can’t become perfect lol. In the end, I think they meant they would excise both sides. Other than that, they talked about things like swelling after revision surgery not lasting long, and asked if I had anything to ask, but I didn’t really, so it ended sooner than expected. The director’s consultation wasn’t as satisfying as what I saw in the reviews. A little irritated? The consultant was very kind. It was very different from the reviews I saw online, so I think I need to think about it more.
