A review of my nasal tip two months after surgery in the middle of a really hot summer
Both the before and after photos were taken with a regular camera, and aside from covering my eyes and nose, nothing was edited, so my skin and hair look a bit messy;; After nose surgery, I went traveling and walked 20,000 steps a day, so I think my swelling went down pretty quickly~ But I got really tanned
My biggest concerns were a hump nose + arrow-shaped nose, and aside from that, it was slightly crooked from the front (please refer to the before photo), and I was also concerned about a slightly bulbous nose.. Overall, my nose was a bit long?
Still, I was planning to just live with the face I was born with, but before an important day, I got a Hiko procedure at another clinic, and the side effects were so severe that I eventually had to undergo surgery to remove the Hikoㅠ (For reference, Hiko is a procedure when you get it, but removal is surgery, everyone. If you’re going to get nose surgery, I really do not recommend Hiko at all) So the small wound on the nasal tip in the after photo is because of Hiko.. Instead, the columella incision scar did not remain.
Anyway, after consultations at several clinics, the price quoted by a removal-specialized clinic? was very high, but I was anxious about going back to the clinic where I originally got Hiko; so after thinking about it, I decided to just do the nasal tip at the same time, and every clinic mentioned doing it without implants, so I did not worry about implants
However, a few clinics recommended osteotomy, but since I was scared of touching the bone, I decided to follow Director Lee Kyung-mook at Objet, who suggested proceeding without osteotomy.
I emphasized that I absolutely wanted it natural!!!! Fortunately, just lifting the nasal tip improved the hump and reduced the bulbous nose. Since the nasal tip went up, my nose also went from slightly long to shorter. Looking at previous reviews, it seemed like his style is usually more dramatic than what I had done, but I think he reflected my opinion.
I said I did not want a nose that was too pointy or too high, but at first, because of the swelling, I wondered, does it look slightly upturned? Is it too much? So when I went for follow-up, I asked, and he said he made it slightly like that at first because the nose comes down later.
Of course, even though the doctor told me thatㅠ honestly, at first I was worried too, so I could not sleep and searched this site and that site like crazy, but time really is the answer.
Now that two months have passed, it is not like that anymore. It is natural enough that people seeing me for the first time would not know I had nose surgery, and I think the line is close to the straight line I wanted..? (I emphasized that I disliked an upturned nasal tip, a beoseon line, and a semi-beoseon line)
My side profile improved the most dramatically, and from the front, my impression changed slightly? I hope everyone takes this into consideration and gets nose surgery they are satisfied with.
Oh, after surgery they did not put cotton in my nose, so it was bearable even in midsummer. I had almost no pain~
