Posterior canthoplasty, lower eyelid lowering, and outer eye corner correction, 1 month

Before-before-after-after-after Surgery date: 2023.01.14

I was concerned because my eyes were slightly asymmetrical in the position, shape, and size of the outer corners, so I had posterior canthoplasty and outer eye corner correction to align the outer corner positions. My eyes weren’t upturned, but I also had lower eyelid lowering to make the shape and size of both eyes match.

If you look at the pre-op photos, the area from the hollow line under the eye to the outer corner is different on each side, and I’m satisfied because I think this improved after surgery.

First, the inside of the clinic was clean, and the restroom I went to wash my face before surgery was also clean. All the necessary items were prepared as disposables. The recovery room was a private room, which was nice, and there were things like a charger and snacks. The cookies and sikhye I had after surgery were tasty haha

From the start of the consultation until the end of surgery, the director, consultant, and staff kindly guided me, so thanks to that I could comfortably ask anything I was curious about.

Right before going into surgery, I saw the director and explained that I didn’t want too much lower eyelid lowering, and that I hoped the asymmetry correction and posterior canthoplasty would turn out well.

After surgery, I had the stitches removed on day 7, and the bruising and conjunctival edema were severe until recently, but my skin is naturally thin, so I bruise easily and bruises don’t fade quickly, so I just accepted it.

The post-op photos were taken with the basic iPhone camera~
