My two eyes were different, so whenever I did my makeup, I always used double-eyelid tape on my left eye, but it was so annoying and uncomfortable that I got surgery! The consultant who counseled me was really kind, and she told me that I probably didn’t need to get surgeries that weren’t necessary for me haha The doctor also said he would perform the surgery to match what I wanted as much as possible, so I think that made me feel reassured. Besides that, all the other staff members I met at the clinic were kind too!! The pain on the day of surgery was just a slight throbbing, and it wasn’t bothersome enough to interfere with daily life. The swelling wasn’t severe either, so there wasn’t really anything uncomfortable. It’s only day 1 after surgery, but the lines on both sides already look almost similar, so I’m really happy haha I want the swelling to go down quickly so I can do my makeup without double-eyelid tape!!
