I had it done around 2018, but it’s been so long that honestly, all I remember is that the doctor in charge was a man. At the time, I think there may have been only one doctor there... I didn’t do any online or in-person research. My younger sibling had three facial contouring procedures at Cookie and had no major issues, so I just followed along and did it there. The event price was 7 million won, but since I was referred by my sibling who had a lot of different things done at Cookie, I got it for half of that again. The consultation was with the consultant, and I briefly saw the doctor before going into surgery. Maybe because I was getting it so cheaply, the consultation didn’t feel very sincere. Since so much time has passed, as for pain, I only had some right after the surgery, and for a few days my head hurt a bit like I had a fever? That’s about it. I was really scared, but I only remember thinking it hurt less than I expected. When I see reviews of three facial contouring procedures, people’s chins look almost nonexistent, their faces look slimmer and smaller, but I didn’t feel that kind of dramatic effect. Still, I no longer feel like my face shape is unattractive the way I used to. It didn’t change me to the point of looking like a completely different person, so I also have less sagging because of that. But I felt this really depends on the person. My younger sibling had surgery with the same doctor and developed a double chin and deep cheek fat, and even after removal surgery and liposuction, they say the skin keeps sagging. I’m satisfied in my own way and haven’t felt any side effects.
