I had my primary surgery with autologous costal cartilage. I didn’t want to have revision surgery, so as I kept getting consultations for something that would be definite from the start, I thought autologous costal cartilage was right for me, and after surgery I really liked the shape of my nose, but.. everyone, don’t judge by looking at photos from a few weeks, 1 month, 2 months after surgery. As 6 months pass, the shape becomes different from the post-op shape. If you’re going to use photos as reference, at least refer to photos taken after 6 months. My nose also looked really pretty at first. But at 6 months, the nasal tip ended up getting absorbed.. It turns out autologous costal cartilage doesn’t mean there’s no absorption. So the nose shape you see shortly after surgery may not actually be your own nose shape. Those who want a dramatic result while taking possible absorption into account need to talk about it clearly. Even though I said I wanted a dramatic result, it has become ordinary now. I’m debating whether I should get revision surgery.. or just be satisfied and live with it. What do you all think? I’m also scared that if I get greedy for no reason, side effects might happen.. Please share good opinions~
