Hi, friends? I said I’d come back, and I’m here with my 2-week review.
I’ll summarize the changes so far. -Lower swelling and areola size have returned to normal -The dulled sensation in my right breast has started coming back -Abdominal swelling remains faintly in the lower abdomen. My weight gain decreased from +4 kg to +1 kg -Shortness of breath, stiffness, pressure, etc. have completely disappeared. When I first wake up in the morning, there is still a little pressure and stiffness -The scar area has started itching, and all the remaining scabs have fallen off -The bruising on my ribs is completely gone -Upper swelling is still quite noticeable, but overall a lot has gone down, so my Solb bra size went from 75F to 75E...
Even though it’s only week 2, they say I’m recovering pretty quickly. A lot has changed lol. The lower part of my breasts is soft too.. it feels like my own breasts
I’m absolutely not saying this to encourage anyone, but I originally did weight training 4 times a week. Because of the abdominal swelling, from day 3 to day 7 I did 1 hour of cardio each day with My Mountain, Stairway to Heaven, and a seated bike.
From day 8... I started using lower-body machines. Of course, the weight was about 2/3 of what I used before, and I focused on isolating the lower body. And as long as I didn’t raise my arms straight overhead, I also kept doing upper-body stretches. The director said gently loosening up before pain starts actually helps recovery even if it feels stiff.
Of course, using weight machines wasn’t something the director approved; I just did it on my own... because I’m a bit obsessive about exercise
Since I know a lot of friends who exercise and are getting surgery, I’m sharing my case. Anyway, I got through it safely without any crises like inflammation, and there was no change in my breast shape.
This is just my thought, but I feel like exercising actually helped the swelling, tissue texture, and recovery improve much faster haha
That said, I hope no one overdoes it just because of me
I’ll come back again at the 1-month mark~ Everyone, hang in there
