My first surgery was in 2021. My older sister and friends around me had it too, and it turned out naturally and well, so at the time I knew nothing and decided to have surgery there right away. A few months after the surgery, my eyelids loosened and I got a double crease, so I went to the hospital, and they said there was nothing they could do because I have protruding eyes. They said there are several patients with the same case, and that things got better after getting filler above the eyes or after revision surgery. At the time, my eyes were so bad that I cried a lot, and they were so strange I didn’t even want to go outside. Then I got filler above my eyes, and with the original swelling added on top, it looked really unnatural, like I had been bitten by a mosquito on my eye. I was really stressed then too. But there wasn’t any other real option, and I was busy studying, so I just lived with it. Then in July 2022 I had revision surgery at the same hospital and only paid the anesthesia fee, but around March or April 2023 it loosened again, so now I’m looking into revision surgery again. The hospital said it was because of my protruding eyes, which may be true, but my friend who had surgery at this hospital also seemed to have her eyelids loosen similarly. So I’m not sure whether this doctor and my eyes just don’t match, or whether my protruding eyes are the problem, and this time I’m looking into getting revision surgery at another hospital. If anyone can recommend a hospital, I’d really appreciate it.
