The doctor is in his late 50s,
and he did surgery really beautifully on my family member’s droopy eyes,
so if I get it done locally, I’m definitely thinking of doing it there.
(He removed the droopy skin, like Lee Jung-jae’s thin double eyelids,
and it turned out that pretty.)
But I’m thinking about revision surgery, and the doctor’s
opinion is so different from mine that I’m worried.
I’m concerned because one side is thick and the other side is thin,
and the thicker side has an awkward-looking double eyelid,
so I want to redo both sides.
The doctor said it’s fine and that it’s not that awkward.
And since I’m older too, he said he would take out a thicker amount on both sides.
So even though the visible part of my eyes is uneven,
he said it doesn’t really matter,
and that made me worry whether I can trust him and leave it to him.
According to the doctor, during surgery, while designing,
he measures everything in mm with a ruler and pays attention stitch by stitch,
but during the consultation he kept saying everything was fine,
and that I don’t need to worry about what looks bad to my eyes,
so I’m also wondering if this isn’t the right place.
It’s just complicated.
