Went in for paranasal augmentation and ended up getting a chin implant (don’t just worry, get a consultation first …

Before<before surgery. concerned about nasolabial folds>Before<before surgery>Before<before surgery>After<day of surgery (5 hours after surgery)>After<day of surgery (5 hours after surgery)>After<day of surgery (5 hours after surgery)>I was usually so bothered by the hollowness beside my nose + nasolabial folds that while looking into it, I started considering paranasal augmentation.

But I wasn’t sure whether paranasal augmentation would suit someone like me with a protruding midface, so I went for a consultation first to ask haha

(I didn’t consider filler. I saw all my friends who got nasolabial fold filler have the side effect of it migrating to other areasㅜ)

While looking into paranasal augmentation, there were exactly 2 clinics I wanted to go to, and each used Gore-Tex / silicone.

At first I thought I should do silicone rather than Gore-Tex, but the more I looked into it, the more I thought Gore-Tex might be okay too. Still, I decided to choose after consulting with the clinics.

Took a half-day off and went to the first place (a place famous on YouTube for paranasal augmentation)

Everyone was so, so kind and I had the consultation without waiting After a 30-second? consultation with the consultant about what I was concerned about, I went straight into the doctor’s consultation. As soon as the doctor came in, he said “paranasal?” looked at my face, then said, “Mm~ if you do it, it should be fine.” and that was it lol I was so flustered lololol First, I asked things like because I have a long midface, whether it would look even longer after paranasal augmentation, and he said it wouldn’t and said that because the area beside my nose is sunken in as if pressed by a finger, I would see an effect if I did it. Anyway, the whole consultation was done in 5 minutes. Then I got the price information and left

Straight to the second clinic (the place mentioned the most for paranasal augmentation. A clinic that uses Gore-Tex) Everyone here was extremely kind too

Even before going, there was a doctor I wanted, so I requested that doctor

I had the consultant consultation first, and she looked at everything in great detail. When I brought up paranasal augmentation, she told me that because I have a protruding midface, the doctor might not recommend paranasal augmentationㅜ

But then again, I do have hollowness beside my nose... Since I also have a bit of a retruded chin, she said it would probably be effective to put in the paranasal implant minimally and do a chin implant together. She accurately pointed out the areas I’d always been bothered by and the areas I always retouched in photos lololol It really felt like she scratched exactly where it itched lol (Even before going to the consultation, I’d thought that if they brought up a chin implant, I should do it, so I didn’t feel resistant to it)

After waiting, I had the doctor consultation. As soon as the doctor saw my face, he asked why I wanted paranasal augmentation and firmly told me I should not do paranasal augmentation hehe......

He said my nasolabial folds are expression lines, so I just have to accept them,,,ㅜㅜ and I should especially not do filler (because my smiling expression is strong? he said my face would 100% have it pushed/migrate)

He explained in great detail, pointing out my face, why I shouldn’t do paranasal augmentation He told me not to do paranasal augmentation and just go home lol So I asked, “Then what about my retruded chin?” and he said if I do the retruded chin, I would see an effect.. He said my chin is only a 0.7 ratio in my face, and since I have a protruding midface, if I do my chin, my impression will look much better, so I booked a date right away.

The doctor was really, really so kind, and it wasn’t artificial kindness; I really liked that he explained things first in detail and in an easy-to-understand way He clearly told me it would be better not to do surgeries I don’t need, and he told me all about possible side effects during surgery and things like lip curling? so I trusted him more and could consult comfortably thanks to that

**In conclusion, I went in for paranasal augmentation and ended up doing my chin, but I’m so, so happy with it... the swelling hasn’t even gone down yet, but I already like it hehe Now that I have a chin from a roundish image, I feel like I definitely have a slightly sophisticated? aristocratic vibe

There is some swelling, but it’s only around the mouth, so it doesn’t look like I had surgery and there is zero bruising. It doesn’t hurt either

I took two days of annual leave, but I should’ve just gone to work. What a waste of leave... (If you’re not in the service industry and have an office job, I think you could even work on the day of surgery lololololol)

Originally, I had been going around consultations to do my nose, but after doing my chin, I feel like I don’t need to, that’s how it is

I hope the swelling goes down quickly so the area under my lips goes in nicely The hollowness beside my nose + nasolabial folds are the same, but... For that, I’m going to try something like UltraCol and lifting onceㅜ

Anyway, no matter how much I went around for paranasal augmentation, there was no information, so it was really hard so I think instead of just worrying alone, it would be good to go get a consultation, everyone (but make sure to research the clinic and doctor well before going!!!)
