The reason I ended up having surgery was that I had a nasal bone fracture from an accident, and because of that it became uncomfortable to breathe through my nose and the shape of my nose changed too, so it became a complex. After that, I decided to get nose surgery. Honestly, even just 4-5 years ago, there were a lot of negative views toward men getting plastic surgery, so I felt self-conscious and I did not have money either, but what caught my eye was septal nose surgery. Since it is fundamentally for treatment purposes, it is covered by indemnity insurance, and they said it could also improve things cosmetically, so without really looking into it, I went to only one hospital and completed the payment directly. At the time, I was young, and maybe because I acted timid about nose surgery, when I think about it now, I can only think that I was just taken advantage of. The director who saw me then (I do not remember the name) gave no detailed explanation at all, just, "Do you have a nose shape you want? No? Yes, understood, I will try to do well." That was it. Really, without saying anything else, that was the end. I was passive too, but thinking about it now, I am honestly dumbfounded, like, was that really okay? lol Anyway, since some of it is my fault too... I will describe the review based on my current situation. The shape of my nose did change. I originally had a bulbous nose, but after nose surgery, the bulbous nose became much bigger. If before it was about like ㅇ, after surgery it is shaped like 0 lololololol And functionally too, for about 6 months right after surgery, I think breathing did feel easier. Currently, breathing is as uncomfortable as before surgery, or even more uncomfortable. When the seasons change, one side gets completely blocked lololol On top of that, when I lie down, I feel pressure in my nose and a foreign-body sensation, so I thought it must be temporary... but even though it has been 4 years since the surgery, when I wake up my nose is swollen and puffy. I did not even have an implant put in... Anyway, that is my review of septal nose surgery. In conclusion, if you are doing it with some cosmetic expectations, absolutely do not do it. Functionally, honestly, nothing improved for me, so I do not recommend it. Just do not do it. I do not know if it is because I met the wrong hospital, but it remains a bad memory for me.
