Eye Side Effects@eye-sideeffect

Eye foreign-body sensation, pain, diplopia & advice on revision surgery please..

Could this possibly happen even more than 6 years after having it done? I don't know if it started early last year or around fall the year before last But when I roll my eyeball, I have pain like being stabbed with a needle So I went to the ophthalmologist often, and they said scratches kept forming on my cornea They said it was inflammation. But that area is the upper part It's the same location where it feels like I'm being stabbed when I move my eye At the 2 o'clock direction if you think of it like a clock

Even though I kept going to ophthalmology clinics, it didn't get better The scratches kept forming and even the diplopia got worse So recently, because the diplopia was so severe, I went to an eye specialty hospital And was diagnosed with non-accommodative esotropia (accommodative strabismus is the kind that can be corrected with glasses and happens because of hyperopia Non-accommodative is when diplopia occurs even with glasses)

Just in case, I searched for side effects of ptosis correction and side effects of natural adhesion double-eyelid surgery And foreign-body sensation and diplopia were listed..

The stabbing pain I have is at the 2 o'clock direction, so it's on the lateral side The upper outer direction. So I tried not to move my eyeball much toward the outside Because the stabbing pain was so severe..

I wondered if this might be because of the ptosis correction or natural adhesion sutures So for now, I've called the hospital where I had it done

They said the surgeon who operated on me is still there (there are 3 or 4 doctors) And the consultant who was in charge of me back then is also still there So when I talked to the consultant, she said that because the doctor knows the surgical method exactly It is possible to release it too.

I asked things like, it's been a long time so there must be adhesions, what do you do then Would you make an incision and cut it out, won't it leave a scar What method was used, etc. And she said no incision is needed and something about a minimal hole

For now I said okay and that I would go at least to check the condition But would it be better to remove it at the hospital where I had it done Or would it be better to find another hospital and go there?

I've been searching on GYS for days on end But all the hospitals famous for releasing ptosis correction are in other regions.... The hospital where I had it done is far too, but these places are even farther....

And if I end up having revision surgery by full incision Will they remove all the sutures from the natural adhesion procedure and the ptosis correction sutures inside?

But since I had it done in 2017 I feel like adhesions would have more than fully formed by now And although both sides are still severely uneven, I'm now old enough That I've become someone who thinks I should just live with the way I look

So I really don't want to touch it any more.......ㅠㅠ Sigh... But my eye hurts so much and is so uncomfortable that I feel like it will get worse later..

What would be best to do? If you know anywhere, please share some information...ㅠㅠ
