Before/after/after I had incisional double eyelid surgery on February 4, and this is roughly my 3-week review.
I had a very clear idea of the line I wanted, so the consultation wasn't long. They did lightly recommend medial epicanthoplasty and ptosis correction, but they didn't push it strongly. Since the line was set not too high from the start, I don't think the swelling was too severe. I worked hard on warm/cold compresses and walking, so until week 2 I could clearly see the swelling going down day by day, but from week 3 it's been at a standstillㅠㅠ It swells in the morning and goes down in the evening, repeating every day.
I definitely like the line on my left eye. Once more swelling goes down, the line I wanted will probably come out, but I already like it enough as it is now, so I feel good every time I do my makeupㅎㅎ
My right eye still has more swelling, and there is a slight part where the line near the inner corner of the eye is offㅠㅠ Even when I open my eyes, the line splitting is slightly visible, but thankfully it's not bothersome. I think I need to watch a bit longer as the swelling goes down. I should be more careful with the right side so scar tissue doesn't form.
