After registering, I changed into a gown with the staff member’s guidance. I listened to the pre-procedure instructions and then went into the procedure room. When it was actually time for the procedure, I got really nervous. It was my first facial procedure, so I was even more nervous, but the director in charge of the procedure explained things before starting and even joked around to help me relax When I lay down on the procedure table, the nurse also gave me a foot massage to help me relax, so my nerves eased more than I expected. I think everyone must be curious, so I’ll get straight to it. Honestly, I thought it would hurt a lot, but it did not hurt except when they gave the anesthesia. For a man, I’m pretty timid, so I was really scared when they were removing the fat, but it did not hurt. The procedure finished in a little under an hour, and I took a photo because I was curious how swollen I was I laughed when I saw how swollen my face was. I found my face funny (if you look at the photo, you can see I can’t hold back my laughter) During days 1 to 3 after the procedure, I had to take medicine, so I ate japchae and meat too. They said liposuction is forgiving when it comes to eating, so I trusted that and ate. Day 3 after the procedure, my face is swollen and bruised. I had heard explanations about this beforehand, and the bruising was less than I expected, so I felt relieved. I trusted that the swelling would go down with time, and I also thought, at this level, it would not be noticeable even without wearing a mask. Day 5 after the procedure, I’m drinking delicious freshly squeezed orange juice... Right now, I’m eating without much burden. My face is still swollen though~ Day 7 after the procedure, I’m exercising and going about my days. I do CrossFit, and when I exercise, I take off the compression band. It does not hurt or anything, so I’m doing it comfortably.
By week 2, I think the bruising will be mostly gone and things will be much better. I worried a lot, but compared to my worries, the bruises disappeared quickly, and when I look at other reviews, it does not seem like this is that much. Am I just resistant to bruising..
