Eye Surgery Reviews

Had a back-and-lower canthoplasty

My voice is also on the husky side, but I kept thinking about what gives me such a strong impression to other people, and I figured my upturned eyes probably had a big influence. So I had a back-and-lower canthoplasty at another hospital 4-5 years ago, but when I look in the mirror now, I don't really see much effect, and it feels like the lower side has lifted a lot, so I was worried. Then I learned that a YouTuber had had a back-and-lower canthoplasty at this clinic, so I went for a consultation.

Actually, I had consultations at two places, but I was already decided after reading reviews that said they would definitely widen the eye, so I had already made up my mind to do it. It was also a large hospital and the wait was long, so I only had a brief consultation with the director, but I think I put down the deposit that very day! On the surgery day, after hearing all the explanations and waiting, when I met the director I asked them to lower the area under the eyes as much as possible and open it up more, and the surgery went ahead with me feeling nervous. It felt more tight and prickly than I expected, and I think I felt painful stinging. Still, I kept going with the thought that they would make it pretty, and that the pain was probably part of the process

After the surgery, I held onto the nurse's arm and went to the recovery room, where I did cold compresses for about 30 minutes before getting my medication and going home! I had already heard that it would hurt a lot and be uncomfortable after surgery, but it felt 2-3 times more painful than I expected. It felt like sand was stuck in my eyeballs, like my eyelashes were stabbing my pupils, the cut area stung too, and my face had a lot of bruising and swelling. It's day 3 today, and I think the swelling, bruising, and pain are at their peak Since they said the swelling and recovery will improve rapidly once the stitches are removed, I'll just hang in there until then,,, fighting
