First of all, I was diagnosed with rhinitis at an ENT clinic before, so I searched online through 3 plastic surgery clinics, looked at photo reviews, and went to places I likedㅠㅠ But they all say such different things....... First, I’m going to exclude one place, so I’ll pass on that one~
One place is ㅇㅌ, and after looking at my CT, they said it wasn’t rhinitis......;;; They showed me my CT image and said my airway was open, so it wasn’t rhinitis. I was shocked At the previous clinic, they said it was rhinitis and even told me the insurance company code number.... At other clinics, they said my nasal septum was small or deviated, but at ㅇㅌ, they confidently said you can’t see the nasal septum on CT ㅠㅠ The consultant said these days it’s hard to get reimbursement for rhinitis, but what they said was so different from other clinics that I got confused But the nose line here was so my style that I paid a deposit, but as I kept thinking about it, I realized I decided to have surgery partly because my rhinitis is usually severe and uncomfortable, so I thought maybe I should check other places too???
So I went to ㅁㅇㄷ in Nonhyeon, which is said to be famous, and even though it was the first consultation in the morning, the wait was huge!!!! There were also a lot of people coming for consultations... I had a consultation with Director ㅇㄱㅇ, and he adjusted my nose with Photoshop and immediately pointed out the parts that needed fixing, so I didn’t even have anything to ask.... He said my nasal septum seemed deviated, and if they open it up and it has no strength, he recommended donated rib cartilage. He even showed me a video of a weak nasal septum, saying it was a video he had taken during a previous surgery! When I asked, “Do I really have rhinitis?” he said that if the patient feels discomfort, then it is rhinitis, and after looking at the CT, he diagnosed me with rhinitis.. The consultant was comfortable to talk to, they applied a lot of discounts, and I’m drawn to this place because their aftercare is good, but even when I look at review photos, I don’t get that exact feeling of “this is it,” so I’m still really tornㅠㅠ
Should I go to another clinic again??ㅠㅠㅠㅠ If any of you have had functional rhinoplasty, please answer meㅠㅠㅠㅠ
