After my first surgery, the line came out too low, so there was almost no difference before and after, so I decided on revision surgery.
At the first hospital, I didn’t even get to meet the director at my one-week follow-up..ㅋㅋ
1. ㄸㅋ (ㄱㅎㅅ)
Recommendation: buried suture method + upper epicanthoplasty (optional)
I went to this hospital because I heard there was a famous director who used to be at ㅇㅁㄹ.
The consultation order was consultant > director > consultant, and the consultant consultation wasn’t bad.
It was good that they understood my needs well during the consultation, but they recommended a forehead lift as the surgical method, so I was like, huh?
Do I really need that..? That’s what I thought, and at my age in my 20s, they suddenly recommended a forehead lift, so I was like, huh?
The director’s explanation was good, and the line was good too. He also addressed the things I was curious about well. There was definitely a firm feeling. He said there was no need to do incision, and that I didn’t need ptosis correction either.
It was good that he created the line several times, but the long wait time and the fact that it’s not a place that only does eyes were disappointing, so I considered it until the final candidate list but passed.
2. ㄱㄴ (ㅇㄱㅎ)
Recommendation: ptosis correction + incision
I visited here for my first surgery and revisited when considering revision surgery.
Because I arrived slightly later than my reservation time, I waited about 1 hour.
Before consulting with the director, I consulted with the consultant, but the consultant decided everything, so I was a bit flustered.
I said I could do ptosis correction or not do it, but I wanted to hear what the director said first, but she said, “Oh, then you prefer it?” and just checked off ptosis correction. And between incisional and non-incisional, she said, “For revision surgery, it’s usually always done by incision~” so.. hmm.
I came to consult with the director, not the consultant, so it was a bit flustering.
The director was gentle, and he created the line I wanted well.
But since it was revision surgery, there were no review discounts or anything, and I wanted to do it at a single-doctor clinic, so since it went over 3 million KRW, I passed.
3. ㅇㅎㅅ
Recommendation: upper epicanthoplasty + buried suture method + ptosis correction
The consultant was kind, and the director seemed relatively young.
The hospital felt a bit narrow? Something like that.
As for the line itself, the strong impression was just that it wasn’t bad.
He said there was no need to do incision.
It wasn’t extremely satisfying, nor was it bad.. I just didn’t feel especially drawn to it, so I passed. The price was reasonable, in the mid-1 million KRW range.
4. ㅇㅇㅇ (ㅗㄴㅔㅓ)
Recommendation: buried suture method + ptosis correction + upper epicanthoplasty The hospital was quite spacious for a single-doctor clinic.
Since it was a clinic with one female director, I visited with some expectations.
After taking photos, I had the consultant consultation first, and the consultant understood my needs very well.
It was good that she understood the areas I wanted improved, and I also liked the consultation while looking at the photos.
I liked the line the director made after coming in, and as she created it professionally several times, I got a very delicate, meticulous impression.
However, after the director consultation ended, the consultant said there was a difference depending on whether I paid the deposit or not, so I thought about it a lot. In the end, I think the feeling of being drawn to it is important. There weren’t any particularly bad reviews either, so after thinking for about a week, I eventually decided to do it here. (I think seeing that all the lines in the event reviews were my style also played a big role.)
5. ㅇㅇㄱㄹ Recommendation: don’t remember
The line wasn’t pretty, and I couldn’t tell what the director wanted to say..
The consultation felt a bit like I was being scolded, so I didn’t feel very good. The price was the cheapest.
6. ㅇㅇㅎ Recommendation: incision + ptosis correction + upper epicanthoplasty
Everyone smiled warmly, so the atmosphere was good. The doctor seemed very specialized in eyes, and the consultant also had a lot of pride. But no other hospital recommended incision, yet they said I had to do incision, so I was like, huh?!
When I asked the reason, they said I had more tissue between my eyes and eyebrows than other people. So I thought maybe that was why.
But after this consultation, I asked all the other hospitals whether I needed incision and whether I had a lot of tissue, and they said not at all, so I was like, huh, again.
Still, they had me open and close my eyes a lot, and it did seem like they were examining me professionally. The price was in the high 2 million KRW range.
Oh, and there is a 10,000 KRW consultation fee. I think the consultation itself wasn’t bad.
