Eye Surgery Reviews@eye-review

One month after posterior and lower canthoplasty

I have monolid eyes that form anterior fold wrinkles, and when I put strength into my eyes, a line forms like double eyelids as in the photo; my eyes have little fat. In the before photo, my face was a bit swollen after nasal tip surgery, so my eyes came out looking a little more upturned. Please take into account that it may look a bit more dynamic because of that. I believe it was probably a micro-incision? canthoplasty, and the posterior canthoplasty stitches were dissolvable, so they were still exposed until week 3, but by week 4 they disappeared without me noticing. I understand the lower canthoplasty stitches are fixed internally. These do not seem to dissolve. Until weeks 2-3 after surgery, my anxiety was going crazy, but now it seems to be settling into place, so I’m writing a review.

< Pros > - People say my eyes look softer★★ - When I turn my eyes to the side, more of the whites of my eyes show - When I looked downward, it used to look as if my eyes were closed, but now it looks like my eyes are properly open (because much more of the lower white part of the eye shows)

< Cons > - More fine blood vessels appeared - Dry eye syndrome ★★ - My sanpaku eyes got slightly worse - Under-eye wrinkles formed (loss of elasticity) - Smiling looks awkward (the eyelash line is fixed, but only the skin underneath moves up when I smile) - Loss of aegyo-sal under-eye fullness (I didn’t have a lot to begin with, but it seems to have disappeared even more after surgery.. planning fillerㅜ)

Until week 3, I had a very tight pulling sensation from both sides of my eyes to my cheeks, and even fully closing my eyes was uncomfortable, but now it’s better and I like it! Compared with nose surgery, the cost was relatively low, so I decided on it too easily, but maybe because it’s the eyes, I went through a lot emotionally. But now I’m satisfied too... complicatedㅎㅎ Anyway, even if you like it right away, there is also the issue of accelerated under-eye aging... It really doesn’t seem like a surgery you can think of lightly. I hope you think about it a lot!

++Oh right, during surgery they said I had too much under-eye fat, so they removed that too. The aegyo-sal in the post-op photo is drawn on.
