Review of 2 facial contouring procedures

I had two procedures: square jaw reduction and chin contouring. During the consultation, they strongly recommended T-osteotomy if I wanted to see a good effect, but I said absolutely no. The biggest reason was that among jawbone surgeries excluding cheekbone surgery, procedures that split the jawbone, such as T-osteotomy and chin advancement or setback, seemed to have the most side effects.. They say plastic surgery is about compromise, and if there is something you gain, there is definitely something you lose, so I didn’t get greedy. For me, improving my complex was more important than trying to become prettier.. I had surgery to shave the jawline slimly up to near the chin without touching the chin itself, and I’m currently very satisfied. My chin is recessed, but I never felt my chin was a complex and I was satisfied with it, so even when the doctor recommended chin advancement, I just let it go in one ear and out the other lol My first plastic surgery ended up being bone-shaving surgery, so I was really scared, but it was over in an instant. That doesn’t mean it was light at all. Some people say facial contouring surgery is no big deal, but how could bone-shaving surgery be no big deal.. People who say they went back to work one or two weeks after facial contouring.. it may not be a lie, but for 99% of them, their face will be swollen enough for people around them to notice. You need at least about two months before you look human.. I saw a lot of reviews saying they went out and about right after one week, so the shock hit me hard lol. With this facial contouring surgery, I have no intention of ever getting plastic surgery again. As someone who has had facial contouring, if I were to give advice that doesn’t really sound like advice: Go in clearly knowing what part you want to fix. During plastic surgery consultations, there are so many cases where people get swept up by the consultant’s or doctor’s way of talking and end up adding more procedures. To avoid getting swept up, you must search what you want to do, what you absolutely do not want to do, and the side effects. If you get plastic surgery, side effects definitely exist. Whether small or large, you need to be clearly aware of what side effects can come from that surgery, and I think plastic surgery is something you can be satisfied with only if you can tolerate those side effects as long as the part you want can be fixed.
