One of my eyes had an inner double eyelid and I could open it prettily, but the other eye had some ptosis and didn’t even have an inner double eyelid. Still, when taking photos, if I lightly made a crease on the smaller eye with my finger, the asymmetry wasn’t very noticeable, so I was living fine.. But as I got older, the smaller eye started drooping severely. Even if I artificially made a double eyelid, only about half of my pupil was visible, so that says it all. So I went to an acquaintance on my mom’s side and got ptosis correction + incisional double eyelid surgery. My acquaintances also had procedures done there, and they all turned out pretty, and I had also successfully had under-eye fat repositioning there before, so I had it done without doubt. I think the surgery itself went well.. My eyes open well and the double eyelids were made well too.
But the problem is that I really don’t like my new eyes ㅠㅠ I guess I didn’t explain properly to the director before surgery ㅠㅠ Maybe because I only said, “Please make the double eyelids as small as possible,” and didn’t say, “Please make them at the level of inner double eyelids.” The line isn’t high, but my current double eyelids are definitely not inner double eyelids.. But I miss my eyes that had inner double eyelids so much ㅠㅠ Some people say I look prettier now, but what can I do when I don’t like my own eyes... And the eye that used to be smaller became an in-out line instead of an inline lineㅠㅠ I wonder if the line was set a bit wrong ㅠㅠ
It’s already been a year, so there’s no more swelling left to go down. Do I have no choice but to wait for the double eyelid line to lower from skin sagging due to aging..?
A while ago, I went to the hospital where I had the surgery and asked them either to do revision surgery to make the line lower or to undo it completely, but they said that then my eyes would become sleepy-looking again, and they wouldn’t do itㅠㅠ Should I go consult at another hospital famous for revision surgery?
